The Rambouillet Ultimatum In Retrospect

Image
The original headquarters of Radio Televizija Srbije (RTS) in Belgrade, Serbia. The building was hit with a missile on April 23, 1999 during NATO's 78-day air bombing raid of Yugoslavia; 16 employees were killed during the attack. To this day, and as pictured above, the building remains the same as it was on the day it was fire-bombed. If there is one thing that the late Slobodan Milosevic should regret, it is agreeing to travel to Rambouillet in the first place for the U.S.-led "peace talks" and "negotiations" that took place between February 6, 1999 and March 22, 1999. He of course rightfully rejected the terms of the Rambouillet ultimatum and, as he mentioned in a personal conversation with his defense lawyer Christopher Black, told the United States to "go fuck themselves" (sic). The terms were completely abhorrent and objectionable because they essentially were tantamount to blackmailing Yugoslavia (or whatever was left of it) into opening ...

Where Are the Fantastical 'Mother-Goddess, Eco-topic, Unicornlands'? When Regime-Change Operations Succeed, Kill, and Depopulate Nations

The first round of U.S.-British airstrikes on Baghdad on March 3, 2003, marking the beginning of the 2003 U.S. war on Iraq. How soon will we start hearing the likes of Extinction Rebellion, and other neo-Malthusianists, echoing the infamous words of former U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright who said that the 500,000 Iraqi children killed by U.S. sanctions was "worth it"? It's only a matter of time that they will, and we should not put it past them to do so. Just a few months leading up to the U.S.-backed right-wing coup in Bolivia, they were already making calls to oust Evo Morales and were, amongst all things, blaming him for the Amazon forest fires (even though he was actively helping to put them out) and using them as a pretext for imperialist intervention. According to modern-day, vacuous, and 'woke' eco-Malthusianists, independent sovereign nations (i.e. Cuba, Syria, the DPRK, and Nicaragua), who dare to defy the global dictatorship of the U...

The DPRK Eviscerates Joe Biden, Calling Him an 'Imbecile' and a 'Fool of Low IQ'

Image
The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) recently published an official statement in response to comments made by former U.S. Vice President Joe Biden, who called Kim Jong Un a "tyrant" (among other things) in a speech. Unsurprisingly, the U.S. presidential hopeful repeated the usual lies and slanders made against North Korea in Western media. Biden is a long time advocate of war against the DPRK and has said many times in the past that he would support a unilateral strike against them. In other words, he wants to turn the country into a 'charcoal briquette' (as Stephen Gowans describes several times), again, essentially repeating a piece of Cold War history wherein which the country in 1953 was violently burned to the ground and had 20 percent of its population exterminated (1.55 million massacred; their population was about 9 million in 1950). It was indeed a genocide, but of course it would be dismissed as such by imperialist media.  One should als...

Killing Yugoslavia: The 20th Anniversary of the 78-Day Illegal NATO Air Bombings

Image
March 24th, 2019 will mark the 20th anniversary of 78-day NATO air-bombing of Yugoslavia, with Serbia suffering the most catastrophic damage since it was the central target. As was already mentioned , Serbia was at the centre of one of the most vicious U.S. imperialist propaganda campaigns; to add insult to injury, it was re-victimized and humiliated in the ICC. There are also reasonable grounds to believe that former Yugoslavian President and Serbian-born Slobodan MiloÅ¡ević was murdered (via poisoning) in 2006. MiloÅ¡ević was unfairly indicted for alleged war crimes and was arrested on March 31st, 2001. He was put on trial in the Hague Tribunal in 2002 and spent four years in prison, until the day of his death on March 11th, 2006. One of his defense lawyers, Christopher Black, writes  [1]: "The death of Slobodan Milosevic was clearly the only way out of the dilemma the NATO powers had put themselves in by charging him before the Hague tribunal. The propaganda against him...

U.S. Intelligence: Weapons of Mass Destabilization and Deception - Link Roundup

Image
The history of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) is a long and bloody one. The CIA was formed in 1947 and continues to define U.S. foreign policy with the Pentagon as its subordinate and as the primary military wing. Colour revolutions, anti-Communism, drug cartels, destabilization, bloody coups, proxy forces, and regime-change -- this is the legacy of the CIA, in short. And just recently, the intelligence agency had just appointed an all-female leadership , which had several liberal media personalities such as the unabashed anti-Russia mouthpiece Rachel Maddow reacting very excitedly, declaring it a "feminist victory" -- which is expected since it is, after all, a victory for identity politics . Of course, this "social justice warrior" (sjw) -pandering is nothing new; in fact, the agency encourages a climate of Postmodernism and identity politics. To help justify U.S. wars of imperial aggression, the CIA needed to make them palatable to consumers of mass me...

Rwanda and Yugoslavia: Nations Killed and Re-victimized in the International Kangaroo Courts - Link Roundup

Image
Left to right: Juvénal Habyarimana (Republic of Rwanda) and Slobodan MiloÅ¡ević (Yugoslavia and Serbia); photos taken some time during the 1980's.  “What would happen if capitalism succeeded in smashing the Republic of Soviets? There would set in an era of the blackest reaction in all the capitalist and colonial countries. The working class and the oppressed peoples would be seized by the throat, the positions of international communism would be lost.” [1]  —J.V. Stalin, 1926  Such are the prophetic words of Joseph Stalin; and indeed, that is what happened throughout much of the 1990's after the demise of the Soviet Union: a series of U.S. imperial aggressions which went unchecked, with little to no challenge, and with increasing brute force. The CIA-backed Mujahideen succeeded in overthrowing the progressive, Soviet-aligned People's Democratic Party of Afghanistan in 1992, which not only caused Afghanistan's living standards to drop rapidly and made th...

War Criminal Profile: George Soros - Bankrolling "Peace" at Home and Terror Abroad

Image
While Zbigniew Brzezinski was the mastermind behind many of the United States' foreign-meddling and regime-change projects, George Soros played the role of bankroller . Who is George Soros? George Soros is a liberal, anti-communist, hedge fund billionnaire who helped to finance CIA operations during the 1980's to bring down Soviet-aligned governments, particular those in Eastern Europe. Along with Brzezinski, he provided support for colour revolutions and proxy forces in the efforts to destabilize countries that openly defied U.S. imperialism. His targets for U.S.-led regime change projects and NATO control included: East Germany, Romania, and Czechoslovakia. He is also a trustee and a major source of funding for the Council on Foreign Relations (of which Brzezinski was also a Council member), a private organization through which Wall Street's foreign policy preferences  and interests are relayed to Washington. In other words, it is Wall Street's think tank. It...

War Criminal Profile: Brzezinski - the Godfather of Colour Revolutions and Proxy Wars

Image
A key figure in the history of U.S. foreign policy is the late Zbigniew Brzezinski, a Polish-American diplomat and political scientist who served as former President Jimmy Carter's National Security Advisor from 1977 to 1981. He was a highly influential figure in the Council on Foreign Relations. Although he was not the National Security Advisor under Ronald Reagan's presidency, he still continued to play a prominent role in enforcing U.S. foreign policy's goals in upholding Washington's global monopoly. His strategy in carrying out U.S. foreign policy consisted of using the CIA to destabilize and force regime-change onto countries whose governments actively resisted against Washington. One particular target was the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan , which was then under the progressive, anti-imperialist, and Soviet-allied government of the People's Democratic Party of Afghanistan (PDPA). Brzezinski was the architect behind the Mujahideen , which was compris...
